Elizabeth J. Washburn Formerly of Susquehanna, Pa.
Elizabeth J. "Betty" Washburn, 50, of Lake Wales, Fla., died Tuesday, May 3, 1994 as a result of injuries in an automobile accident. A. Gerald Washburn, her husband, survives. Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law Bob and Wendy Washburn, Nineveh, NY.; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Thomas Bell, Rochester, NY.; her mother, Mary Squier, Montrose, Pa.; a brother, Robert Squier, Hallstead, Pa.; two sisters, Ruth Long, W. Va.; Mary Nodel, Scranton, Pa.; three grandchildren, Jackie and T.J. Bell, Jessica Washburn. She was predeceased by her father, George Squier. She retired from the Binghamton Psychiatric Center in 1988 after 20 years of service. She completed her Licensed Practical Nurse's Degree at Polk Community College, Fla., and was employed at Winter Haven Hospital.
Funeral services will be at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, Pa., Tuesday, May 10, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. E. Allen Siebold officiating. Interment will be at North Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, Pa. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
