Class of '61 School Tour

Many classmates visited the school today for the first time in over 48 years. The entrance has been upgraded but still looks pretty much the same.
Inside, the main entrance still looks familiar with just a few changes. We were treated to a presentation explaining the changes and upgrades to the school during the last half-century, as well as the challenges for the future.
It was amazing to see and hear about the new technology in the library. This used to be the cafeteria. It's now an exercise room.
Barb Emerson Reynolds, Gail Schmick and Phyllis Warren Oakley are listening intently. Fearful territory. The OFFICE!!!
Music is still important at Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge maintains memorials to students lost in wars, and recently started this board acknowledging current and past military members.
Sports are still very active here with plenty of awards to show for it. And even more awards.
Remember when we couldn't wait to leave these doors for the last time? Smokers will remember this view well.
