Our Emblem

Early in the establishment of the Blue Ridge High School the emblem on this page became a significant symbol.

The torch of learning sheds its light of education and enlightenment over the local area so appropriately depicted in the Pennsylvania State Keystone.

In the top portion of the Keystone is depicted the natural beauty of the valley between Hallstead and New Milford as seen from the school.

In the left portion is the plow, calling attention to the fertile and thriving farm area in the Jackson and New Milford areas.

The stone arrowhead in the right-hand side calls attention to the Indian lore along the Susquehanna River in the Great Bend-Hallstead section.
